A book review is a literary criticism on which the writer analyzes a book based on its content, style, strengths, weakness, and marit of books. it can also consider articles in a book. It may be a primary source, opinion, summary review, or academic review.

There are some aims of the book review, these are given below. 

a. The book review is assigned to develop analytical skills.

b. to describe the content regardless of the type of fiction, non-fiction, historical, technical, or critical book.

c. The book review tells the reader a little bit about the book so we can determine if we want to read it or not.

d. A book review should identify the central idea of the book

e. Give the reader some indication of the author’s style, approach, or premises and then offer an overall evaluation.

f. To talk about the substance of the book and give an investigation of what he/she had perused, and find if the writer figured out how to uncover the center and accomplished the reason for the book.
